Life Extension: Wanwan Has Survived Again

After more than ten years living in Taiwan, I am used to living periodically in what I call "emergency mode"; the numb state of sublimated fears, angers, and other assorted anxieties about which there is no time to process. There is only time for action. When the action is done and the problem is resolved, the sublimated anxieties quickly wash away.

Wanwan has now survived a heartworm condition and two poisoning episodes as well as Taiwan's constant traffic threat. Hopefully, he will continue to survive for a long time to come.
