The second shot is looking south toward the new footbridge passing over the river as it flows down on its way to the reservoir...
Not much else going on at the moment (outside of work, preparing for move, and other necessities); I might try to get up to Baihe reservoir soon for some more pictures from the north-east corner looking south-west. I'm not even sure that's possible yet.
