Hoist By Their Own Petard

"According to Greenpeace, the Competitive Enterprise Institute, one of the most vilified organisations, had received just $2million from Exxon between 1998 and 2005. Yet between 1994 and 2005, total donations to Greenpeace amounted to over $2 billion."
Ben Pile at Spiked. It's a terrible shame; what should really have been a non-political subject for private and independent* research organizations was hijacked by the Left almost from the beginning. These people - people like Michael Turton - richly deserve the discredit.

*Just "private", in the absence of a depoliticized society is not enough - to be independent, "private" research groups must not be corrupted into becoming proxy agencies of the State.

  1. Man Michael, you're really hammering on this Turton fellow as of late. But, I haven't seen any responses from him. I wonder why?

    Just curious.

  2. It's because he's not capable of arguing his points beyond a certain point. He has no scientific background and relies on his gut feelings for his rhetoric.
