Facepalm

"It seems a tragedy in itself when it takes major injury and loss of life such as the Greater-Taichung pub fire to move government officials to enforce existing laws and create new ones... Where have these paid public servants been hiding? Isn’t it a bit obvious that there is a difference between a beverage store and a pub? ... We must not let this happen again."
For the attention of Tom Kuleck up in Taichung: Your royal we had nothing to do with that fire - the combination of fire + stupid in one little place in Taichung has nothing to do with people living in Taipei, Tainan, Kaohsiung or anywhere else: how dare you suggest otherwise. What would be the most accurate adjective to describe someone like you who seems to believe that yet more government regulation can eradicate human stupidity?
