On Sunday I rode the bicycle out to work in Xinsih. I often do this at the weekends to keep my fitness up; the distance is only 15 K (and the same for the return) and is only a fraction of what I now do on my longer rides.

It may have been due to having had a much better night's sleep on the Saturday night (no insomnia), or it might have been due to something else... but whatever the cause, I was surprised at just how much energy and power I had on the return ride. I reckon I could have done the whole 98 K to Kaohsiung and back again in one sitting if I'd had a mind to do it.

I felt like I was fucking invincible.
