Feng Jianmei & Her Seven Month Old Son

"A commentary in the state-run Global Times newspaper said in English that late-term forced abortions should be “condemned and banned,” but that they “shouldn't be a reason for refuting the whole (one child) policy.”
Agreed.

The whole one child policy ought to be condemned and scrapped, not merely in reaction to the aesthetic horror of late-term abortions, but rather, on account of the premises on which the policy rests and from which such horrors arise. Human beings are not insects, and there can surely be few things more horrifying than the attempt to make us so. I would imagine that, for Feng Jianmei, nothing can ever make amends for the crime perpetrated against her and her son, but if killing the bastards who did this to her would bring an ounce of consolation, then I say she should do it if she can, and to hell with the consequences.
