Ahead Of Its Time

More aviation porn, as I won't have time to write anything tommorow, and the defense essay is still some way off being finished.

Conceptually, the Harrier was a brilliant design, and the British MOD's decision to prematurely retire the GR9s last year was a disgrace - another one on the long list going at least all the way back to the commies' murdering of the TSR2. The Harrier's replacement - the F35 - has been buggered from the beginning too. They should have stuck with the original order for the B variant.
